Tomahawk MX Practice Day Information

Our weekend practices and race practices are organized in order to provide comfort and safety to our riders. Located next to the entrance to the track is the white board (pictured below) that has the class structure for that day. The classes are subject to change based on the crowd that arrives. For example, on occasions we have to split C and Vet up because of the number of riders in that practice. If we don’t have any 50cc riders that day we will remove that practice.

A/B would be considered a fast big bike practice (with riders jumping most of the jumps.) C/Vet would be considered a moderate big bike practice. The kids 85, 65 & 50 practices are based on the size of the bike. Each practice runs for 15 minutes and is announced on our radio station 90.3. The arrow shows what practice is currently on the track.

Most Wednesdays are open practice where the riders will not be broken up into groups. However, if there is a race coming up or $25 dollar day for members where there are larger numbers of riders we will have to split.

Gates remain open on practice weekends.  Dry camping is free.  Staff will arrive at 9am to check people in.

We also do private track rentals on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday! Feel free to email us to set this up!

We do not allow quads or ATVs.

Tomahawk MX Practice Day Options

We have 3 tracks open for riding on our practice days: our main motocross course, small kids track, and a pitbike track beside the garage.

Practice Day Riding Rates - new pricing effective January 1st, 2024

1. Non-Member rate $60/per day.
2. Member rate $40/per day. - All Tomahawk MX membership card holders will have the opportunity to ride for $25 on the last Wednesday of every month.

Our weekend practices are organized according to the size of the crowd.
